This Schlage-shaped keyway and cylinder lock was designed to only aesthetically match actual Schlage keys and keyways, as it was designed specifically to be used in surface-mounted patio door handle sets. This cylinder lock is constructed of brass, it comes finished with a chrome face and features a hardened cut-away tailpiece. It works with vertical and 45 degree keyways (angle is determined when latch is extended to the locked position). *Tip: If keyed-alike cylinders are desired for more than one patio door handle set lock, kindly see Prime-Line part E 2104. Note: The components of these cylinder locks are not compatible and cannot be rekeyed to match other Schlage locks, nor will Schlage keys fit into this cylinder lock.
